Yep. Hell, I wasn't even here for the 90s and I'm still burned out on this bullshit. They keep doing the same thing over and over and over. I'm not going to apologize for having an opinion, or for thinking we're going to keep seeing the same results because they either never learn or just don't care about winning as long as the stands are full.

Albert (Rd. 1), Asamoah (Rd. 3), Allen (Rd. 2), Hudson (Rd. 2).

GTFO of Chiefsplanet.

Mr @MoveTheSticks said he polled 3-4 NFL GMs about #Chiefs at 1. Says he got back "unanimous" predictions that the pick'll be Luke Joeckel.

I'm almost 40. I just didn't move here until the late 90s.

Wow.....12% of NFL GMs think that the Chiefs will take Joeckel.

Boy, we're really gonna pull one on them...when we take Fisher.

Luke Joeckel tells Jimmy Burch of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram that the #Chiefs are the only team he has a private workout with.

If we were to take him our top 6 linemen would be:

1st round (2)
2nd round (2)
3rd round (2)

We're a lock for the Super Bowl!! LMAO

Bewbies 03-08-2013 08:01 PM

You know on 2nd thought, if Reid threw a curve at everyone and didn't take Joeckel a lot of GM's will have ****ed up.

You get this team to 7-9 year after year, minimal risk investments in players, avoid the QB position and give the fans hope for a 1st round playoff loss and you will rake cash from KC like no other...

Its not like we havent seen this before in KC. I have been a fan since 1987 and its the same thing over and over and over and over and over....

Yeah, he spent money to win back the fanbase but not a Super Bowl. I just don't understand the logic.

i dont understand why any owner would not want to win. Even if he were in it for the money, Super Bowl = Alot more coin. When people say clark doesnt care about winning that sounds insane. He has hired the best available execs twice in a row.

ILChief 03-08-2013 08:13 PM

I prefer Geno or Milliner but I would rather take Joeckel than another defensive lineman
