Sub Way was good then they had more 5$ footlongs, now the have taken most of the good choices off that list.

Lutz is good because they use all Burgers Smokehouse stuff~ Its all in the meat!

And yes, I had leftover Casey's Pizza for lunch~

Burgers summer sausage is pretty awesome.

Their bacon is the shit, though. Love that stuff.

Out here in Denver we have very few Casey's. Up on the north end of town we have Ricca Pizza. This guy knows how to cook a mean pie. He is from Chicago but he knows most of us out here like a thinner crust. Shit, I could go to the store and get a loaf of bread and put sauce on it. That don't make a pizza!

Broke down and tried a sub at Casey's just out of curiosity, and it wasn't bad! I tried their Club Combo, and they definitely weren't skimpy on the meat. From the side, it was 2/3 meat and cheese to 1/3 veggies, which is the inverse of what you typically get at Subway or the others.

Definitely a solid "bang for your buck" alternative if you just want a basic sub.

Most of them are $7 now. I think only the meatball one is still $5 – which I used to love as a teenager but doesn’t do it for me anymore.

How do they stay competitive? Bacon from Burgers is $15/lb.
