Totally off topic but since you are a mod, I was wondering if you could help or let me know what I need to do. I joined chiefsplanet back in 02 but due to job changing and moving(took about a 2 year leave from the planet) I had forgotten my password and no longer had the email account listed with my original account, afchiefs(with the s) so I opened up a new account but now, no avatars, no thread start, etc., just a noob. sorry Lonewolf. I'm just joking around. I didn't mean to shit on you, Wichita is good peoples. When I was a kid, going to Wichita was a real treat. Wichita was the place to go to play in video arcades, to find comic book shops, to shop for clothes... everything was in Wichita.

I still visit on occasion but its saddening. there are a few cool things on the far east side and far west (new multiplex cinemas, new bowling alleys, sports activity complexes) but the middle has been gutted. Wichita is like a cicada husk that's been bedazzled with 2 rhinestones at either end.

I was mostly joking, so no apology necessary. I actually agree with your take on the city. I grew up in a small town about 20 minutes west of Wichita and going into Wichita was a treat as a kid also.

Wichita is an unfortunate shithole of a town.

That is so sad. Every city has some deplorable people and if I voice my actual opinion, this thread could end up in D.C.

If it weren't for a handful of people... I would actively root for Wichita to blown off the map in a thermonuclear blast. A place so bland that the most interesting geographical/topographical feature is a ****ing drainage ditch. A city so ****ing dumb they bought a AAA team and got a AA team instead then called them the "Wind Surge". A place so flat that when your dog runs away... you will get to watch him run the whole way until the curvature of the earth swallows him up. A city with a river that is so polluted that events are no longer held on the water during the ****ing RIVER FESTIVAL.

I had a handful of friends relocate to Wichita after they graduated from KU. When I'd visit our nights would usually consist of going to the casino to play poker, jezebell's strip club, or getting drunk at the pump house.

Wichita is pretty boring.
