i'm hoping the best for your father and family.

lost my grandpa to brain cancer when i was a teenager. my uncle passed away in january from liver cancer. over the last 4 years cancer has really struck too many people i know.

Praying for you, your family, and your father's doctors. Since i've never been through something similar, I can imagine, but can't truly know what you are going through. But it sounds terrifying and sad. I'll also pray that you can be a bright spot in your family's fear and worries, and that someone can be that for you.

Donger, did they ever find cancer in his lungs or elsewhere?

If they didn't, there's still reason to have considerable hope.

He could still live a few years with Stage 4 brain cancer, given the treatments they have now. Directed radio therapy (aka "cyberknife") worked very, very well for my wife's uncle. Unfortunately, he also had lesions in one of his lungs and that is what got him.
