You realize that Flowers graded out as the worst cover corner who got significant playing time on our team right?

ThaVirus 05-08-2014 02:12 PM

... And Jamaal wasn't a top 100 player in 2012....

... When he ran for 1,500 yards...

... Yeah....

So you're saying you think Flowers was great in coverage last season? Anyone who payed attention to the CB play in 2013 would have seen that he was easily the worst of our top 3 corners.

Sassy Squatch 05-08-2014 02:26 PM

So trade Flowers for a 3rd or Berry for a 2nd. Hmmmm

How many times were the other CBs asked to shadow the #1 WR the entire game? Flowers did it 5 times having 1 bad game.

Anyone who paid attention could see Flowers was the only CB who could keep up with TY.

Flowers shadowed Demaryius Thomas when we played the Broncos?

He was on Keenan Allen the whole game against the Chargers?

He shadowed Josh Gordon?

Well I guess he did a damn good job last season then considering the fact that those Wrs did nothing against our def . . . oh wait.

Not great but far from 95th worst or whatever bullshit PFF is peddling.

I'd argue Smith was our best, followed by Flowers, and then Cooper.

We can use those picks to solidify the O-Line.

No, those picks are too low. You solidify your interior o-line tonight.

There is a consistency among various sites in where Flowers was ranked compared to our two other top corners.

PFF, Bleacher Report, you name it, Flowers was consistently graded out as the worst starting CB on the team. Even if you don't fully agree with where he was ranked overall, there's something to the fact that all of the sites tend to agree that he was our worst performer in 2013.

Is Brandon Flowers worth a 2nd round pick? #Lions have interested I've been told, unsure if it's been reported yet.

BryanBusby 05-08-2014 03:47 PM

This guy is pulling shit directly out of his butt.

The Franchise 05-08-2014 03:48 PM

I don't even know what that last sentence is supposed to mean.
