I'm sure it would. The ATX is designed for use other than head.

The little samples of stuff they send - some good products. The shave cream and exfoliator are really nice.

The only downside to head shaving is at least for me I can't go back.

I have tried a couple times to stop and I can't stand it, stuck with shaved head the rest of my life.

The shave cream - called Headblade Slick - is super nice. And the exfoliator - called Headblade Shed - uses ground up walnut shells as the scrubbing stuff, also super nice.
