I don't go to BBQ joints for their sides, I go for their meats. I couldn't care less about cole slaw or cheesy corn. Give me some lean brisket, lean pulled beef or pork but most importantly, excellent burnt ends.
Also, I don't go for brown sugary sauces, I like spicier sauce. On the rare occasion that I've picked up BBQ in LA, I always use Gates, Zarda or Rufus Teague sauces. |
Maybe I'm crazy, but I like Bryants. Their ribs are great.
Smoking gun in nkc is pretty cool and good but it's not up there with the big guys yet |

OK. I'm going to mosey on down to The Stack and try their dinner for two. Might as well go HAM. Not literally. I'll get ribs, burnt ends, pulled pork and sausage.

I just ate there last night for the third time.
I will say that their chicken is the most moist and juicy I've had. |
