You don't leave your best pitcher out there when he's having an off night just to make some dumb ****ing point.

Might as well just put Pedroia on 1st base and save yourself the pitches.

One of the best offenses of all time, tip your cap to these ****s

Because they aren't the only team in that division doing PED's...

Not say that one way or the other. I was referencing your comments about Duffy's "heart" and "effort", you mouth breather.

Their pitching hasn't been great. Porcello is having a monster year, but Price and Buchholz aren't. Their bullpen isn't awful, but hasn't been flawless either. Tazawa and Uehara haven't been great, and the closer Kimbrel's nasty but his ERA is like 3-something instead of the usual 2 or under. He was probably the best closer in the league for 4 solid years with the Braves. If the big names they had on their pitching staff were pitching at their peak this team would probably be rivaling the Cubs.

How do the redsox have so much money to pay all these ****ing players

bsroyals54 08-27-2016 07:38 PM

Nvm they are the 3rd highest payroll :/

Great effort tonight Duffy. That should end any talk about him being in the cy young discussion. Gotta get 'em tomorrow.

With Boston, if your control is off just a little bit, you will pay. Duffy isn't off by much, but with this group, it doesn't take much. They make you throw strikes, and when you do, it better not be covering much of the plate.

That Boston lineup is pretty amazing

And if you are getting squeezed early you can't start trying to catch more of the plate.

They aren't as good as they seem. They take advantage of that tiny left field better than their opponents. Hit a lazy pop fly and get a double. It's so annoying. They have scored 100 more runs at home than they have on the road.
