Well that's shitty of him. I never considered him a friend. Hell i don't even know the guy, but i actually enjoyed what he would post here on CP.

Hootie can be a solid poster, imo. For example, the best time I have ever had posting on this site was in the 2015 Royals repository threads. Hootie was a major part of those threads and many, many, many gameday threads throughout the entire year. I enjoy just about everyone who posts in the Royals threads, and that was a fun year. I think it was less than a week or so prior to the World Series (may have been during the WS- cannot recall 100%) and that's when the CP Fanduelgate happened. The rest was history and Hootie was gone forever again. Sucked to see him go at that particular point in time because he had posted as much as anyone and was part of the regular GDT crew just to be gone before the Royals won the whole damn thing LMAO.

Shit happens, I guess. But re: Facebook, as I get older, the less of a need I have to cling onto past friends that I haven't spoken to in years/just don't communicate with. It's a shame that it happens, it sucks, but it's life and there is always someone else out there if the effort is made to connect.
