You go with Alex until they are out of playoff contention

What's the BEST we could do with Alex Smith? Marginal division champion, MAYBE one playoff win? That's questionable at this point.

The Chiefs only have 1 road game in the next 5 weeks. I said before the season that week 12 was the perfect time to start Mahomes and I stand by it.

If you believe Pat can deliver, at a minimum, the same performance at QB as Smith then there is nothing to be gained by him sitting on the bench.

If you don't believe he can do that, then I would assume you haven't actually watched any of these games over the last month or so.

If we put in Pat we might lose at home during the wild card round!

Do it if only to put some of the fear back into Smith that seemed to propel him to actually play like a winning NFL QB.

Or, and let's get crazy here...Pat comes in and wins a few games, gets his big dick pendulum swinging in the right direction and actually wins that game that we know Alice would have lost!

Oh, it's absolutely what's going to happen. You aren't going to see Pat unless we're completely sunk or Alex gets his skull rocked. But it's fun to dream.
