We won't ever know the details from behind the scenes though.

Maybe the Rams were the only team, maybe not.

Gotta keep that brand of mediocrity intact.

Let's play "stupid hypothetical" here. IF MP has EB character and demands a trade, his HOF stats for the last 3yrs are worth at least 1- 1st rd pick and a 2nd rd pick this year with a 2nd rd pick next year if not 2 - 1st rd picks, one this year and a 1st next year.

Why would the Chiefs take a less offer? I'd imagine they took the best they could get.

Or it could be a combination of taking the best deal, from a place where Peters wanted to go (especially given his attitude problems, I'm sure most teams wouldn't want to trade for a player who didn't want to be there). It seems like quite a coincidence he ended up near Oakland in the NFC.

Him and a few other dipshits still think this was about Peters kneeling for the National Anthem.

ROFL

The part I don't understand is that when this first leaked and we thought we were getting a first, people were ecstatic. Now it comes out that we got a second instead, and people are losing their minds.

They had no reason not to take the best deal. All reports say the Rams were the only team that was really interested anyway.

I dont recall many people being ecstatic about this trade, no matter the return.

That’s just nuts. You’d have to be a raving lunatic to believe something like that.

No they dont...this was always intended to be a LA only deal. It's why they tried to hide the compensation for as long as possible. Owners want (need) LA to succeed. It's the most ridiculous/lop-sided trade in modern NFL history...

Peters has the 2nd most turnovers in history through 3 years...

A raving, one-note lunatic.

It's why I think Peters was in on the process. Maybe forced it.

Clarkie was afraid of the airplanes 'n' banners from teh angry fans.

Iowanian 02-26-2018 09:51 PM

It sure killed Carolina to let josh Norman go.

I keep seeing references to Deion sanders. How many teams did he play for? No owner ever let him go right...
