He's also coming from a 4-3 tampa 2 style of defense...it's not remotely similar to what he does now. He very rarely ever had to deal with Olinemen before this year.

He shouldn't have to deal with o-linemen so much here either but until the last couple of games, the defensive line has played like complete trash.

I think a coverage linebacker could change this defense dramatically. Means we dont have to play Smith 60% of snaps which he got against the jags.

I really believe that was going to happen regardless. It was just a matter of when not if it would happen. We got lucky I think

I’m down with this too.

Put him in as your moneybacker, ideally get a safety trio of Berry/Parker/Lucas, and you might be pretty good at covering backs and TEs now.
