Powell just feels like a dude who has been the underdog his whole career. But he's watched his peers, learned his craft rep in, rep out, and all of that grinding, along with his physical gifts developing, are gonna explode into something special when he hits the field on sundays. No-one saw Kittle coming being a 23 year old 5th round pick and I think Powell has that same stuff about him tbh.

Neither LDT or Long played last year, so I think Smith does have a slim chance to win the job outright in camp. I honestly think he can outplay LDT right away and Long is a complete ?...if Long is as healthy as they say he is, it’s his job to lose. Also, there are really 4 guys that will compete for RG Long LDT Blythe Smith. Smith is the only one that played any snaps at RG last year and is under contract past next season. I wouldn’t be as shocked as you’d be if he were to go out and win the job outright, but I agree it’s a long shot. |

Powell is going up against Robinson, Hardman, and Pringle for snaps. We have Tajae Sharpe, Fortson, Kemp, and Dieter too but only Sharpe is likely to have a real shot at getting many snaps. It's past time for Dieter to hit the ****ing bricks. Powell is supposed to be smart and run good routes. That should help him win some reps. His size might help him take some blocking reps away from Robinson. I hope he becomes our very own D.K. Metcalf. |
Brown, Thuney, Humphrey, Smith, Long
Boom!! look at the starting offensive line. :D |
Are we taking Kyle Long serious at RT? Personally i just see him as a guard option.

I think Niang wins the RT job outright.
