2 of the last 7 World Series have been held in Kauffman Stadium. That's over 28% of the last 7 World Series.

That's a pretty big seat at the ****ing table!!

That was six years ago. Willing to wait another 24 years to get a sniff?

So the Dodgers are a bad team?

I could argue the 2 best teams in baseball are in that division, it's not the same.

Yeah, me too. I don't have that kind of time left anymore. When the Royals won it all in 1985 I was 26 years old. If you would have told me I'd have to wait until I was 56 years old to see them win another one I'd say you are crazy. At this rate, i'll have to live to be 86 to see them win another one. I don't think I have that much gas left in the tank.

George, let it go.

I don’t see a clear tag there and his hand touched the plate. Lots of baseball left. This team is still young and has shown some good flashes.

Apparently Matheny was PISSED in the postgame about the review. He said he saw two angles where Abreu was out.

That doesn’t excuse you being a ****ing moron and making statements about a MLB conspiracy because they don’t want the Royals in front of the White Sox.

They went on a 3-14 stretch recently. Oakland started 0-6, then had a 13-game winning streak shortly after that. Baseball is a long season with lots of streaks. It's too early to make any definitive statements about this season.

What does that have to do with anything? They got beaten by the Padres, Reds, Brewers, Cubs, and Angels in their 3-14 stretch. Only one of those teams is in their division.

Well......I was 36 in 1985. And now with a terrible heart. So I have some doubts whether I will have enough gas in the tank to see them.........even if they do it this year!! I hope I am wrong and I hope I am here 5-10 years from now. But the odds of that are miniscule.

But that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy what there is left!

How about being pissed at yourself for putting a geriatric, over-the-hill, shell of his former self in a save situation against the top of the order of one of the best lineups in baseball, Matheny?

What's the Royals longest winning streak thus far this year?

It was Davis or Jake Newberry. Pick your poison.

I just can't stand the losing.

We've already had two 100 loss seasons since winning the World Series. It used to be 100 loss seasons was the mark of true baseball awfulness. Seems like we've gotten used to it around here. Can we at least settle for a .500 team and build from there?

Hell......I would take Hanser Alberto over Jake Newberry.
