They're two points out of the WC spot after winning tonight, but the Preds and Stars have an extra game at this point.

They're only 1 point out of the 3rd Pacific spot though, because the Kings haven't been great lately... and the Knights have an extra game on them.


And they're the ****ing luckiest goddamned ****ing lucky team in the history of the NHL.

Interesting Blues/Wild game... granted, I watch so few Wild games I really had no idea who Kirill Kaprizov was, despite his 40+ goals and 90+ points in just his 2nd season.

The kid's insane. He's basically the only reason they're competitive.

Man I had my hopes so high last year. I really thought it would have been a breeze to the cup. This year they look even stronger in every regard. They've made some really good trades to gain every advantage. Trying very hard right now to not get overly excited.....

They're better this year, no question. But we won the President's Trophy last year, and it didn't help in the playoffs. It gets real in a couple weeks. :)

My Kings are hanging on for dear life. A big 2 points last night, coupled with a VGK loss gives them a 3 point lead, but VGK has a game in hand.

Not that it ultimately matters because Colorado, but hey!
