This is a steal of a deal this guy is really good and still ascending. Pretty much the same thing that happened to Orando Brown. According to the san diego beat writer, they really wanted Tranquil back and offered him $~6m a year on a multi-year deal. But he wanted $9m. They said no and signed Eric Kendricks. Tranquil didn't get what he was looking for from anyone else and signed this as a 1 year prove it deal. Only bad thing is it's only a 1 year deal.

Its not lazy, it the exact excitement level you should have. Do I think Veach did his home work? Yes.. But these guys didn't have a huge market.

I get why both these guys are good to great depth pieces.
