What perplexed me the most about Florio, is that at the same time he was writing articles wondering when old man Andy Reid would retire, he would also be writing articles speculating where Bill Belichick (who is six years older than Andy) would coach next.

In none of those articles would he suggest that Belichick was too old to be coaching like he did with Andy.

Much respect for Bobby Knight, but he was actually being too generous. Certainly, too generous to the likes of Florio.

Prostitutes are more honest and straight forward than women at large. That indeed is the very service they provide, and why they have quite literally always been in demand: elimination of the nonsense, immediate delivery of the goods.

Journalists’ tendencies are far more like “normal” women: evasive, cunning, elaborate, masters of obfuscation.

I, for one, salute the ladies of the trade, and denounce the run of the mill “journalist.”
