The prep is far worse than the procedure.

There's a sort of karmic justice to me getting a colonoscopy, b/c my Dad was a KC area gastroenterologist. Colonoscopies were dinner table conversations when I was a kid. Took me YEARS before I got what Dad actually did during a colonoscopy and that many people wouldn't like to discuss them as they ate.

I do the endo every 3 years for Barretts.
I did the colonoscopy and endo combo the same time a couple of years ago.
I assumed he just used the same scope up my arse and out my throat because when I woke up my breath smelled like sh........ I asked the nurse about that and she just shook her head and looked at my wife. She said "he is all yours" to my wife. Wife said "I know, any possible way you can keep him".

Yup. Procedurally it’s a breeze. Prep blows, (literally) butt wasn’t too shitty. 😂
