For the right price and amount of compensation, sure. But I think what his “right” price is, and what Indy’s compensation is, are a lot different than what our compensation and amounts are/would be.

Indy isn't serious about trading him. Floating that they want a first like that, I have to believe this is just to show him that there isn't anyone out there who is gonna give him the money he wants and there isn't any value there. So he's better off staying and playing.

Irsay should say he'll take a 2nd rounder. That way when Taylor can't find any takers it will be a little more embarrassing.

I think they're essentially letting him test the market for RBs and find out that nobody out there wants to give him any more than the Colts may have been offering. This is calling his bluff, IMO. "Fine - you think you're worth $15 million? Go out on the market and prove it..." I'm betting if he comes to terms with anyone on a deal, the asking price to get him from Indy will actually be pretty low; some mid-2nd day pick. It feels like the equivalent of a non-exclusive Franchise tag to me. "If you're worth what you insist you're worth, SOMEONE will offer it..." |

Has anyone already suggested trading CEH for him?
After all, CEH was a higher pick with amazing first round potential. Maybe the Colts can kick in a 7th rounder to make up for the difference. /sarcasm |
This thread should be deleted. I haven't even wasted my time reading through it because it's ridiculous.

I do find it funny they are asking a 1st rounder while saying they won't pay him like he is one...
