Not necessarily hoping for a trade here. But should a trade occur, maybe a combination of draft picks and existing players would be feasible. I have to admit that I do not follow the Bears very closely. Does anyone here have a short list of Bear players that the Chiefs might be able to use this season?

Our rosters loaded, and they aren't giving up DL when they're trying to make it better. Give us all your draft.

As for Reid potential retirement, the only way he voluntarily retires within the next 5 years is if he just gets tired of winning the Super Bowl every season. After winning six straight he might just get bored and want a new challenge. In that case I hope we can keep Nagy. He got Trubisky to the playoffs and had a game essentially won if not for a kicker. Maybe he will just stick around with a handshake agreement to replace Reid eventually.

After what Clark did to get Andy, I feel he will set us up with the best possible option for the latter years of Mahomes career. Who that is, idk. But Clark cares a lot about this team. He’s gonna spare no expense to have who he feels is the best to lead this team.

I’d sign up for that in a heartbeat

Pickens would be the better option. Gipson offers nothing in trade value.

DT Chris Jones to the Bears. KC receives a 2024 first-rounder, a 2025 second-rounder, and DE Trevis Gipson.

Speaking of Gipson:

https://nfltraderumors.co/bears-de-t...to-seek-trade/

He's a guy a liked in the past as a potential trade target. 6-4 263 exactly like George Karlaftis but he's in the 34" arm length range. He would be a potential Leo type fit as Clark sometimes played. Standing up and rushing he could be potentially looking at 3-4 teams as a better fit than Chicago. But as much as Spags drops DE's in coverage he might be a decent fit. Would upgrade Herring for sure. Just would not fit as an inside rusher like Danna Omenihus Herring and Karlaftus. Plus he's in the last year of his contract with like 2M plus but even without potential trades KC will have to open up cap space. I only see it as its own trade not a potential Jones trade necessarily. Possible considering Poles and Veach. Gipson has 10 sacks to his resume and is still young and in a contract year

Great point. I like DJ's suggestion of Gervon Dexter and a 2024 First, but I'd add a 2nd or 3rd to go with it. That draft would be incredible for us.

It really wasn't DJ's, but your point stands.
