There isn't a QB outside of Mahomes that CP thinks is good tho

Question for you:

Alex Smith had those three qualities in spades. Maybe #3 less so than others, but he absolutely possessed average to above average arm strength, and definitely made up for it with his size and scrambling ability.

Is there something else out there that we can point to and say, "Well, that's why Mahomes is Mahomes and Alex is Alex"

Uncanny quick instinct after the snap to accurately read the situation and use his extreme talented throwing and scrambling abilities with the confidence and courage to always play big when needed. Pat knows the greatness that lives within him and is not afraid to be great. Alex rarely played big if ever always going the conservative route and could have played bigger IMO but then maybe he knew his limits to your point.

Not as stupid as that meme. Most mocks have moved him out of the #1 overall position. If him and his representative are this dumb now it will likely only get worse in interviews.

He’s not even coming out this draft.

I will say this about Caleb, just like Trevor Lawrence, many people act like it's blasphemy to criticize him as a prospect.

I think owners, and fans, need to stop killing GMs who get the franchise QB thing wrong.

I say this because the fear of either tying yourself to a mega bust, or just getting an OK guy when the guy you passed on became elite, keeps GMs from taking chances, and really hurts your franchise more than getting it wrong.

Maybe it's the best GM for your team, but he takes McCoy, and two picks later Mahomes gets picked and becomes a legend. A failure like that would probably lead to a new GM and new coach.

That sets a franchise back more than just missing on a pick. Shoot, GMs should get a pass when they miss on a franchise guy, at least the first couple of times.

I would rather swing and whiff a couple of years in a row, and then find Mahomes, than try once, miss, and then go 30+ years before trying again.

Having said that, Williams may be a success in the NFL, but I wouldn't draft him. Well, if I earned the number one pick because my team lost 16 games, then I would NOT draft him. But, if I should be drafting in the high twenties but happen to have the number one pick from previous trades, I might take a chance.

Lincoln Riley doesn't care about D at all. Like less than Leach did.

BINGO !!

I saw this as well. If I am an NFL GM and see this "immature manure" NO WAY !!!! I don't think he realizes just how bad this looks for 'soooooo many different reasons' but most of all displays "it still is all about me".

RealSNR 11-04-2023 10:29 PM

Lots of all time great QBs cry after losses!

Like this guy!

Here's a good summary:

This is why I unfollowed Dov Kleiman. I mean this is a twice-regurgitated story that originated with FLORIO????

Just delete this thread.

Kleiman is one of the biggest dipshits on Twitter. All he does is post other people's opinions. Never had an original thought.

You honestly thought we would do that?

Also, this is completely illegal. Can't play in the NFL and have any type ownership of a team. This was probably a bullshit report.

This Caleb kid gives out some homoerectus feminine vibes. Biggest red flag for me was him painting his nails. And then this shit?
Dawg, I want a leader of men to be in charge of my team. Not some girly boy with queerish tendencies.

He paints his nails with trash talk against Utah and then promptly gets curb stomped by them.

RunKC 11-04-2023 10:59 PM

FYI Caleb Williams has 30 fumbles in 31 college starts. Time to measure those girly hands
