Didn't he ramble on forever on some bullshit about a catch that had no chance of being overturned?

It was obvious in real time too. But the announcers couldn’t bring themselves to acknowledge it. |

You just cannot compare raw stats across eras like this. |

It's why a 60 percent completion percentage was excellent in 1990 and garbage now. Troy Aikman is one of the greatest throwers of the football, ever. Period. |

Yeah it was a close call upon review but he took a hard, adamant stance that the call should be overturned in the Chiefs favor Just felt like he was going a little too hard for it to be genuine |

The {thwack} of the helmets hitting each other was loud enough to be heard above the crowd. If you're an official on the field and you see two players dive headfirst at a QB going to the ground and you hear that sound, you're going to throw the flag. And as was mentioned by someone above - don't want the flag thrown? Don't launch headlong at the QB. They clearly intended to take his head off and Mahomes ducked it. My regret isn't the penalty - it's that those two didn't take each other out of the contest. |
The Chiefs have a very likely minimum 5 HOF players on their roster ( Thuney and D-Hop being likely) a HOF coach, and multiple young All Pro caliber players but yea it’s the refs winning games.
