It's like I have said all along.............
NO 4 PEAT THIS YEAR ! :toast: ROFL  :toast: |
How in the world can a big man play 46 minutes a power game and only get 1 foul...
|
Amazing job by the T'Wolves to win despite being RAPED by the officials.

After further review, I can honestly say that was the worse officiated basketball game I've ever seen.
And I think I've seen enough. K.G. is the MVP mark it down. His game is just so good. Basically he has all the moves Kobe & McGrady have but he's 6'11! He can hit that turn-around fade away jumper, he can post up, he can put the ball on the floor, he can hit that outside shot (just inside the 3 usually) just as good as the other guys and he rebounds. Given his talent & heigth, I just dont' see how you can pass him up. |

Congratulations to the TDogs who certainly deserved that game. |

What do you want a medal for hopping on the Laker-hating bandwagon? |

Don't forget Kobe, he is a flopper on the three point line. Put a hand in his face and he will flop. Many shooters will flop to try and get to the line. I guess the difference between the Lakers and the Kings is the Kings wait for the contact to flop. The only reason Divac has a reputation is Shaq crys to the media and refs because everytime he lowers a shoulder Divac will go down on contact. But, at least there is contact. I hope you are preparing yourself for a Kings vs T-Wolves / Spurs finals. |
Speaking of flopping...
I hate it when all the star players do this... (and Kobe is guilty)
But you see a star guard go up, get stuffed or stripped CLEAN and they'll throw up their arms like real quick, flop their legs around, yell "ahhh!!" and then look at the ref. Be a man and just admit the other guy made a good play. They look like a fish out of water they're floppin so bad. Just because you might be the best player in the world, doesn't mean another professional can't make a good play against you. Normal people are guilty of this to. Have you ever seen someone walk down a sidewalk, stumble over a crack and turn to look at the sidewalk afterwards like there's something wrong with the ground? Same thing. Be a man and just admit that for that moment you were simply a clumsy b!tch who looked silly. |

Flopping is acting. Survey NBA fans and ask them who is the king of flopping. Divac would win in a landslide. Keep saying your prayers that the TWolves could do something that your beloved Kings never had the ability to do: Beat LA in a 7 game series. |
Flops
Its sad when people have to argue over who flops the most in a professional sport. I am not blaming the players, I am blaming the league. Can you think if DT in football stop trying to get to the QB and trying to act like their being held. They don't because the NFL has good fair refs. I know sometimes they suck, but Paul T. isn't in their back pocket. anyways..
I can't let Hoory and Vlade be the only ones getting credit, Karl Malone is also a master at getting fouled. Last rant... I was pissed when one of the announcers last night said. "What a good job of Hoory to flop and get the foul called. That just shows his experience." grrrr.... |
The officiating was decidedly in favor of the Lakers.
Props to KC's Anthony Peeler. Defending Kobe Bryant as well as anyone ever has. It was funny how he overplayed Kobe's right hand in game two, and made Kobe drive to his left, which he was unable to do. Last night, he did great denying him the ball and did not even have to make Kobe drive left to pretty much shut him down. It was terrible to see a series of awful calls that would have decided the game except for the fact that the Wolves showed much more heart. Peeler was a warrior in the OT, as were the other so-called role players. The T'wolves that finished the game are good basketball players, period. NBA playoffs is about adjustments. It will be interesting to see how the Lakers adjust to the full court defense. I think the deciding factor for the series will be whether the T'Wolves can continue to shoot a high percentage. I hope they win, but it sure has been a lot of fun seeing a Kansas City and Mizzou guy play such a big role in an exciting series. Combined with the Royals winning ways, if the Chiefs can pick up some promising players in the draft, being a sports fan is fun right now. |
