Nascar is a lot of fun once you learn about the drivers style of racing on the track -- Some race clean, some race dirty and some race you how you race them... Paybacks are a bitch...

Collect that money!

My buddy went to a race out in VA and said it was an awesome time. I was a bit skeptical, but I actually wouldn't mind going to a race at the KS Speedway here. Mostly for the tailgating, but I'm sure it could be interesting in it's own right.

Who's the bastard driver that races dirty and tries to wreck people the most?

And why do people seem to hate Jeff Gordon?

Dylan 03-05-2011 04:15 PM

lol... Bayne got Danica loose just racin' with her side-by-side... Lord have Mercy LMAO

LMAO PostRockPablo, I'd like to keep my flesh intact around here ...

Let's put it this way. I know what EVERY driver will do if they find themselves in a split second situation. They're lack of decision is fearless -- Some drivers push past that no matter the outcome ... In my opinion, knowing that, gets you hooked on this sport.

I'll let you know... http://www.underlinfamily.com/guestb...leys/happy.gif

Most of the Earnhardt Sr fans disliked Jeff Gordon. Jeff was young, talented and very competitive. Jeff's a great driver/

NASCAR fans "hate" the driver that is feuding with their driver -- which results in these drivers crashing each other out -- over & over.

Mark Martin has won the Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Mark Martin wins Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas as he passes Brad Keselowski on the final lap
after the No. 22 loses a tire and slams the wall.

NASCAR'S Nationwide race in Las Vegas:

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Mz5l6yfVwh4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I'm not sure what he is thinking. Kyle Busch had such a fast car. He led over 80 laps of the first 126 laps with 70 something to go. Why the big run at that point in the race? Why not wait?

Love the driver -- But, hate when he drives completely crazy.

Let the bashing begin. ...http://www.glosonblog.com/wp-include...icon_smile.gif

what are ya'll doing?

I know most of the guys here said that it is a great track to watch a race.

It's beautiful: http://www.kansasspeedway.com/

http://stats.onpitrow.com/images/tra...s-speedway.jpg

Location: Kansas City, KS
Type of Track: Speedway
Length: 1.500 miles
Shape: Tri-oval
Banking: 15°

When looking at how well a driver does at Kansas Speedway, also consider their performance at California, Michigan & Chicage because of their moderate banking & length.

Gracie Dean 03-06-2011 03:00 PM

I have seen the speedway once. We went to Great Wolf Lodge and then drove over and looked in the empty gates. It looks beautiful.

I have never seen a race live but I want to

Nothing like it... The smell of the raw fuel in the air , the pretty girls..

You can't tell how fast they are going until you see them live.....

I prefer to watch a race at home, the bathroom line is shorter and the beer is colder but everybody should do it at least once.

California Speedway is a horrible track and NASCAR and the fans know it. -- However, Cali has a NASCAR fanbase. I happen to love Infineon Raceway.

If I remember correctly, NASCAR was behind the push to rebuilt Kansas Speedway. They took away a date from California Speedway and gave it to Kansas City. It's most prestigious for a race track to earn two NASCAR dates.

Buck 03-06-2011 04:49 PM

I've always wanted to go to either Bristol, Martinsville, or Richmond.

I bet races there are a blast.

Short tracks are great.

Love Super Speedway tracks.

I also love the plate tracks -- Talladega & Daytona.

NASCAR has some really fun tracks -- off the top of my head -- I love Darlington, Texas, Atlanta.
