Greg Wesley out of retirement?

Prison Bitch 03-14-2013 07:27 PM

Don't know anything about him, but if he's a former 2nd rounder who is only 25 and had interest from several teams, I'm assuming he's alright.

Smith is Excellent when in press coverage. He is very physical and jams you at the line.

However in Press coverage he is average. Half the time he gets beat in double moves and runs a sub par 4.5. Average for a DB.

Mother****erJones 03-14-2013 07:31 PM

We need aggressive press corners. Give our pass rushers time to get to QB

Actually...it can't be. It says Revis played over 1000 snaps and I know he didn't do that last year.

How was his PFF ratings last year? I'm sure much better since you posted that link (probably from 2011) instead of last year.

Cool.

Now lets see his 2012 numbers. I want to see how bad he was in 2012, too. I'm honestly just curious.

...the fact you're holding them back leads me to believe he must have had an ok bounce back year.

He had a "rebound year" in the sense that he had a 0.7 coverage rating and a -3.1 overall rating instead of being ****ing abysmal.

He still gave up over 700 yards and 6 TD so it wasn't that big of an improvement. That was almost identical to his 2011.

He had two pretty good games that saved his rating from being ****ing abysmal again.

Sean Smith was thrown to more than any other CB in the nfl and only came down with 2 INTs. He gave up the 2nd most TD's in the nfl, would've been more of Sanchez was able to hit his wide open targets.

Still not a good tackler, has a big ego, guesses a lot and guesses wrong. Wouldn't be a big deal if he was more physical, but he isn't. All in all, not worth his contract.

I don't know a whole lot about Sean Smith. I'm not saying he doesn't suck.

Whatever.

I'm not against the Chiefs signing players and spending money. Doesn't bother me a bit. I also fail to see how Smith, Robinson, DeVito and Avery are 'team breakers'...pretty sure if they bust we can cut them, move on, and take minimal cap hits.

Who cares? We have money. Spend it.

Let me be very clear for you.

The guy allowed the same number of yards both seasons.

Dolphins fans say he's ****ing garbage.

Therefore, I think 2011 is the best indicator of who he is.

I don't know shit about evaluating talent.

It's not hard to identify shitty players though.

Where is the evidence that Sean Smith is actually a decent corner?

Apparently he "improved" in 2012 and still allowed 700+ yards and was so hated by his own fan base they call it "addition by subtraction."

I'd rather have a 33-year old Ty Law than this turd.
