Just depends on what part of the field they are practicing and where your sitting. Joel is in the media tent area, so that is his view. If they were practicing over on the Eastern field, it would be right up by most of the fans.

You can get that close if you stand and if they're doing drills on the side you can stand on.
Someone I know was there yesterday who's been every year in st joe and said it wasn't any different. |
They are practicing more on the Southwest portion of the field from what the pics are showing. If that is true, then yes it won't be as easy to see. Then again they could be working in the Northwest part and it would be completely away from most of the crowd.
I'm sure when they are doing many of the drills they are spread out everywhere and you can get pretty up close. |
