I dont think this is going to have the same result as it did on Watson...

Steelers tried masking their cover 2 all game against Mahomes and he torched them for 6 TDs. PM will notice the bait-n-switch post-snap....

Do we care what a former UConn QB thinks? LOL

Colts fans—you’re getting your shit pushed in. BITCH.

Well, KC may very well spank the Colts . . . but . . . regarding the scheduling, since, and including KC's game against the Pats week 6, the teams records are . . .

The Colts are 5-0 against teams with winning records (Tenn, Hou, Dallas)

The Chiefs are 1-4 against teams with winning records (Pats, Rams, LAC, Balt, Sea). And the only win being the OT win against Balt.

True some of the colts wins were against the AFCS, but they did shut out the Cowboys.

The Chiefs beat the Ravens, Chargers, and Steelers this year moron

Chiefnj2 01-10-2019 12:42 PM

Orlovsky, 8 years in the NFL, 15 total TD passes.

Mahomes had that by week 6 of his first year starting.

Maybe if someone like the Ravens thought of disguising their coverage they could have won the game.

TheNoob 01-10-2019 12:44 PM

Not to mention that the colts split with HOU and played a backup qb both times vs TENN. So in that regard they are 2-1 vs starting qbs with a winning record.

Let’s be real even @Pitt was a bigger win than any of those wins that Indy had.

Beating the Cowboys outside of Dallas is hardly impressive.

They also were blanked by the Kessler-led 5-11 Jags on the road...6-0. This happened less than a month ago..

That's almost the same point differential as KC's 3 losses against NE, Rams and Chargers combined...think about that.

Indy would have lost in all of those scenarios.

The line is now at Chiefs minus 5... On Monday I was terrified... On Tuesday it got better... by today, I'm certain that Indy won't be able to handle our offense. It's going DOWN on Saturday.

ChiefRocka 01-10-2019 01:20 PM

Laughable things I've heard from the media today

- Best defense in the league over past 11 games
- Trust Luck's playoff experiences over Mahomes 1st playoff start
- Colts pass rush will get to Mahomes
- Luck has more weapons around him to succeed
- Trump walked out of a meeting

Fair enough . . . Again, as I mentioned some of the colts wins were against the AFCS.

Either way it should be a good game on Saturday and good luck with the game.

If the "bad" colts show up the Chiefs will not have a problem.

If the "good" colts show up the Chiefs can still win if they play clean football, but it might be a tad more difficult than if the "bad" colts show up.

The colts have been kind of Jekyll and Hide this year.

Bottom line in the last 3 months the colts have only lost one game. If wish you to respond to this point, take your time.

Luck's amazing playoff stats

4-3 record (2-0 at home, 2-3 away)

56% completion
2051 yards (293 ypg)
11 TDs
13 INTs

Yes they got spanked and shut out by the lowly Jags in a game they needed. Should of put up a better fight that day. It cost the colts the division title.

If that colts team shows up Saturday the game will be over by the end of the first quarter with the Chiefs having a cake walk.

The outdoor playoff numbers are reaaaaaally bad. And he hasn’t played in a really cold game for a long, long time.

RunKC 01-10-2019 01:26 PM

So the Chiefs defense this weekend is worse than the one we had when we played them in 2013.

They never mention that Smith had Luck down 38-10 in that game in their stadium...and Luck only came back after half of the Chiefs starters went out with injury.

Chiefs dont lose all their player and the comeback never happens..

Agreed 100% Pugsnotdrugs.

The Chiefs have been close in all of the game that they lost. There were in control against LAC, needed to comeback late against Pats tho, I think Seattle kind of had their number. Rams was just who was going to have the ball last with meaningful time.

So yes Pugs, the Chiefs games in which they have lost were a tougher challenge than the games the Colts won (easier opponent and no under the lights). I will say though some of those games the colts won were important for them to make the playoffs.

Also, the media is going to hype up folks and i can understand one can get tired of the media doing this, so understand. :).

My only fear of playing the colts is if Luck got off.

I do think the colts will be a tough out, just as LAC. Not sure if the Pats will get past the LAC, time will tell. If Rivers goes off, it will be a long day for the pats.

The Colts when all of their starting offensive lineman play (6 games this year):

- 158 yards rushing per game
- 250 yards passing per game
- 0 Sacks Allowed

I hear you . . . and agree just like i did in my last post to Pugsnotdrugs.

KC has been in every game that they have lost. And to be honest so was Balt in the game they lost to KC.

The lost to the Jags was embarrassing. If the Colts of the first part of the season or that Jags game shows up, it will be a cake walk for KC.

However, if the other colts teams shows up, they will be a tough out.

Both the Pats and KC have an opponent that could be tough out this weekend.

I think it depends too on what Pats team shows up. We are 8-0 at home but have had some embarrassing road loses. Really the first type ones in a handful of years.

True we are at home, but LAC are solid on both sides of the ball.

I like our chances, but at the same time would not be surprise of LAC walk out of Foxboro as winners.

Well...I'll be amazed if he goes off in 60 degree weather too. Belichick is in his head.

Rivers is the anti-Brady. KC had beaten him 9 straight times...and he is 0-7 against NE.

Refs handed them that one win with :08 seconds left ..otherwise it would be 10 straight.

I believe this is the first time Luck will play in the cold since having multiple surgeries on his labrum to fix his arm.

I wonder if that will affect him? With as much work as they did on him, he should be feeling discomfort.

What a joke. Hey, Dan, that's why they call it a pre-snap read and a post-snap read. When Watson gets the ball he should have instantly recognized that it was zone and not have made that throw.

Mahomes isn't a dummy. He may get the man read pre-snap but thankfully for us, Mahomes isn't a 1 read guy.

Mahomes loves to scan and wait for the best route to develop so good luck fooling Mahomes post-snap.

Ravens defense threw way more pre-snap lies to Mahomes and he shitted on them with sheer will.

Colts will get ate up badly, can't wait.

I wonder if that will affect him? With as much work as they did on him, he should be feeling discomfort.

Luck used to tackle defenders now he is reluctant to. He’s a different player but he’s still elite and his arm is as good as any of the quarterbacks that have ever won in Arrowhead

Seems like a reach.

Oh man, if Malik Hooker is out, the Colts are fuuuuuuuucked.

I don't know about you, but I'm soooo stoked for this game. It's been at midnight all week.

Longest ****ing week ever.

Hooker hasn't practiced all week...and they just IR'd their veteran safety.

That's a pretty big blow for them..

Hooker has a blog and wrote this...

"I had to come out for a series cause I tweaked my foot, but I was able to go back out there for my brothers, there was no way I was not going to be out there. With treatment all week, I’m going to be just fine."

Not likely that he misses. Mike Mitchell to IR is not good. Great rotational guy.

Mahomer 01-10-2019 02:23 PM

Who cares whether the overrated Colts safety plays. Won't make a difference.

There is no pass rush for the Colts. Therefore Mahomes will tear apart that secondary all game long.

Even if there was a pass rush or they decide to blitz it won't matter much but without a rush, there is zero shot of slowing down the offense much less stopping it.

I didn't know that a Safety with a foot issue could update the fans on what is going on.

The more you know.

I'm glad to hear that Mike Mitchell is out. He's that cheap shot criminal from Pittsburgh. He doesn't deserve to be in the NFL to start with.

No offense, deadman.

It is going to be great to see Hooker in the highlight film running 5 yards behind Tyreek as he scores on a bomb from Mahomes.

Was curious why you didn’t post a link so I looked it up. This blogpost was from Monday and hasn’t been one since. Maybe it’s all still true. Seems like Colts exaggerate on injury reports and rest players all week before playing on game day fairly regularly.

I tried but the forum wouldn't allow me to post a url earlier.

I was surprised as well. I imagine he will be asked not to do that anymore.

He'll likely be disciplined by the Colts. Just FYI.

He's making a backhanded comment at the lack of updates Eric Berry has given all year.

Yes.

It is always good to be healthy.

Many times teams can not make it far if they have a lot of injuries.

1-3 inches of snow likely Saturday. Could be nasty conditions.

As long as the field is cleared and it's not snowing DURING the game it won't be an issue.
