If the Chiefs find themselves up two scores or more, I want them to pile it on. No more nice Andy, if we're kicking their ass you need to pile it on showing the rest of the AFC this is what happens when you start talking shit. I know Andy won't do that, he'll win by 7 - 14 and let Cincy back into the game, but it would be nice if we put an exclamation point and some attitude on this game going into the Super Bowl.

It’s huge if true. We can do all kinds of crazy pre snap movements and misdirections. It’s not a crutch I want to rely on but it’s ideal for a game like this where mahomes needs all the help he can get and I do think cincy doesn’t really know what Reid has up his sleeves for how these two can be used together.

Easy 6 01-25-2023 12:49 PM

I've already predicted a very close game, but the vibe around this team right now is straight FIRE... with Hardman and possibly Fortson back, Reid just might personally depants Taylor at the 50

I'm telling you guys. Throw on top all the overconfidence from the Bengals after they played their SB last week.

Not only are the Chiefs winning this game, it's gonna start like the last AFCCG and finish the same way.

Final score, Chiefs 38, Bengals 17 after they throw a TD with 23 seconds left and their whole offense poses for a photo celebrating.

The coach and QB talking smack about advance ticket sales for Buffalo & Chiefs in Atlanta is pretty hypocritical when the Cincy stadium was also selling advance tickets for a game that won’t happen with the Jaguars.

Not even debatable.

The tackling is sharper, the coverage is tighter (when they go man), and the DL pressure is better, with less blitzing.

The zone still gets carved up some but there's no solution for that other than more games under the rookies' belts.

I really wanted literally any reporter with a spine to corner them on that false narrative at a press conference, but of course none of them did.

I assume making a player or coach on one of these teams look like a complete ****ing idiot is bad for your career though.

I've been thinking about this, some.

We all know that Josh Allen is a great dude. Is he a "fire in the belly" Kobe Bryant dude? "Make me angry, and watch what ****ing happens." Maxx Crosby had a video on YouTube recently where he talked about going facemask to facemask with Mahomes (when Pat was seen yelling "I'M HERE" at the Raiders game, he was shit talking Crosby).

Because we know exactly the kind of dude Mahomes is, and I think we can all agree Burrow is that guy as well. I just don't know if Allen has ever been that dude.

Right. They're manufacturing it, though.

There's nothing to have a chip on their shoulder about. The overwhelming favorite for most of the country going into Sunday's game, they just blew out the Bills, they're on like a 10-game winning streak, they've beat the Chiefs 3 times in a row and on and on and on.

It's completely fake and contrived. Anybody with half a brain can see right through it.

I agree that it's silly, but all they have to do is believe it.

I think both of these teams have a full head of steam heading into this game. Despite the Bengals running the table so far, the teams are basically dead even.

Going to be a great game so long as Mahomes is as healthy as the people at Arrowhead say he is.

Nah Joe Burrow just yells about how he's him while throwing to a guy that's wide open like that's special.

Direckshun 01-25-2023 01:29 PM

So I think the keys to this game:

1. Whatever the Chiefs do, they have to start hot on offense. I'm talking minimum 10 points on their first two possession. The Bengals come out firing every time against teams and it puts the team on their back heels. Spags, for all of his game planning, is going to have his D carved up for the first quarter. Score early, put 10-14 on the board, keep the pressure on them rather than give them breathing room to try out defensive looks for shits and giggles to see what sticks.

2. The team cannot allow themselves to get carved up in the run game. If the Bengals can run effectively and put Burrow in 2nd and 2 situations time and time again, they may not punt.

3. I'm more in favor of DL keeping their gap integrity and getting hands up. The Chiefs lead the league in batted passes, Burrow leads the league in having his passes batted down. Sacks are great, pressures are very good, but the part that can screw with Burrow is batting his passes.

4. Don't let Hubbard get going. I've already accepted that Hendrickson will give Orlando Brown fits, but whomever Wylie is going up against, help him. If Mahomes only has to manage one edge rusher, he will be fine -- ask the Raiders. Having to navigate two of them harassing him off the edge is not fine -- ask the Chargers.

Yeah. They had good reason to be pissed off heading into that Buffalo game. It should have been a neutral site game instead of Buffalo’s stadium. For some bizarre reason Vegas was labeling them as 5-6 point underdogs as well. Made no sense based on what we saw of those 2 teams right before Damar’s medical emergency.

Would love them not playing. Our DL really needs to create a playoff performance.

I thought Cincinnati was a better team than Buffalo but the oline injuries made me think Buffalo could do some things.

I was shocked at how poorly they played.

Then again, Buffalo had been eliminated by KC scoring 38 and 42 the last 2 years so....

It's looking like this game may be the epitome of the "call the ambulance... but not for me!" meme.

The McDermott & Frazier defense is pretty overrated. It looks like the Buffalo fanbase has finally accepted that reality after watching Mahomes & Burrow torch the Bills defense in 3 straight playoff games. If Von Miller stayed healthy, maybe that would have helped offset some of their defensive struggles.

PunkinDrublic 01-25-2023 02:18 PM

Would Burrow have the same numbers without Tee Higgens and Jamar Chase? I’ve yet to see that narrative from the sports talking heads, yet even after winning a Super Bowl it was implied Pat’s early success was because he had Tyreek, Kelce and Hardman.

I've definitely noticed some hypocrisy from fans and the media in regards to this.

Burrow's a great QB, and looked like he was on his way to being one as a rookie without Chase, but they clearly don't keep that same energy with him.

So...

play good football?

and eliminate bad football?

I don’t give a shit about any of that, I care about the pain that’s coming for Cincinnati. **** these assholes, KC is locked and loaded and ready for another championship run.

Give him a break. We need our Legion of Idiots at full strength going anti-Bengal en masse. This is when we embrace the cesspool and come together as one.

I know Andy won't do that, he'll win by 7 - 14 and let Cincy back into the game, but it would be nice if we put an exclamation point and some attitude on this game going into the Super Bowl.

I’m thinking a hungry pig type play late in the 4th with the gain hand.

It's all fabricated. It has been all week. They want people to believe that everybody is counting them out when in reality, most NFL fans, pundits, and bettors, especially in Buffalo and Cincinnati, think they've already beat KC.

Same thing they did with their fake outrage on the Atlanta ticket sales when the Cincy stadium was doing the same damn thing for a game that will never happen with the Jaguars.

The Bengals definitely like to play both sides of the coin. So far it has worked for them, but I will be very glad if their luck runs out on Sunday.
