Works well in a highly moderated environment, when will we be deleting football threads around here to show solidarity?

But yea, from what I've seen from your fanbase online I've lost complete respect.

But yea, complete and total lack of class.

Don’t lecture us about “class” shitface when your team’s biggest fan is a cold blooded killer.

We were open the next day. Yes, there was emotion at the time, but almost immediately there was a measure of relief when we were told by her mom that she'd been stabilized.

And these are freakin' college girls who are in a mail room, not grown men who are used to seeing significant injury on the field. Yes, you CAN equate this to another type of business - if anything it's MORE shocking in an office environment.

Stop infantilizing these guys.

I think the difference is that it wasn't like it was the mail or a mail room activity that caused her to have seizures and then her coworkers had to go back and do that same activity.

But, overall, I agree with the decision to call the game and I think it should be ruled a no contest and everyone move on to next week. There's no other way to go that isn't logistically impossible or doesn't **** the rest of the 30 teams just to convenience these two.

Yeah but you didn’t then have to fight grown men after witnessing that.

After the mail girl was put in the ambulance, gigantic men didn’t bulldoze into you and try to bring you to the ground.

There is a difference in physicality between the job you’re describing and what an NFL game is. Anyone who has seen trauma can relate to the feeling of physical weakness you can feel.

Agree, was glad they didn't push players to go in that night.

will OJ lecture me about what god or gods i can pray to?

NY CHIEF 01-04-2023 12:11 PM

The chiefs played a game the day after a player committed a murder suicide at arrowhead in 2012

I think everyone is beating a dead horse at this point.

The nfl needs to make a decision on the game-TODAY.

The rest is up to the docs and Hamlin (meaning how he can internally fight)

People dont like it that there is no information. The need for immediate gratification here cant and wont be satisfied. They need to F off. We are what--36 hours after a major confusing event? Things like that takes time and the family has the right to hold information from the public.

So, it is time for some, like me, to not hang on every word. Got stuff to do. What ever happens to the game, happens.

Hope he gets better. Still saying prayers.

IrishChief 01-04-2023 12:11 PM

A Bills fan made a thread which had 10 posts copied and pasted from the Bengals and Chiefs forums. The 10 Bengals posts where cherry picked to look better than the Chief's posts. Even in this horrible time SOME bills fans cant help but be ****s. There are hundreds of posts on this forum displaying compassion and love for Damar Hamlin & his family.

Wasn’t there an anonymous NFL player who wrote a piece about exactly this for ESPN? Maybe like 8-10 years ago.

I remember him describing all of the gruesome injuries he had seen over the years.

We've been threatened with torn anuses, chaps.

Be warned. And prepare thy anuses.

(Billay, I don't think you have anything to worry about...for a variety of reasons)

This Bills troll never "lost respect".

They are just mad that their team got stomped by KC in the playoffs so they are here to troll and play the victim.

Eleazar 01-04-2023 12:13 PM

If the player is stable and maybe even improving, as Schefter reports, the Bills should be playing Sunday. No ifs, ands, or buts.

I know they changed the OT rules for the Bills when Josh Allen made a frowny face on TV and tugged at everyone's heartstrings, but it's a little absurd for the Bills to just say "nah, we ain't playing again until we feel like it, and if it costs us anything we're going to demonize you"
