I have no idea who's batting, but here's how I see this playing out:

Grounder to 2b (after rolling over a fastball trying to pull it)
K swinging
Popup to short RF (after trying to pull a high fastball that the hitter is light years behind).

14 pitches

The hitters don't matter, they're all ****ing braindead.

For those of you who haven't seen him a lot, Broxton is Motte with a slider.

"I'll bet you don't have enough hair on your ass to throw me another one."

"Here it comes, Parkman. Number one, the Terminator."

And a shitload more consistency.

2 years ago when he first got the gig, he was wild as **** walked everyone, he's turned that around big time.

That slider hung just a tick, but he tried to yank it.

Of course he did.

Find a hitter on this club that doesn't try to yank everything thrown up there and I'll show you someone that hasn't been with the club for long.

They have a consistently awful approach up and down the lineup.

But have no fear! Holliday's slider speed bat will save us!

Holy shit, Choke Boy actually did something useful.

Dude has hung his last two sliders big time and we missed both of them.

Nobody on base.

I suppose a 9th inning single with nobody on is more than I should expect from Holliday, but I'm gonna wait a bit to get too excited about a ducksnort up the middle from our $17 million cleanup hitter and worst starting OFer.

Give them a break.
