One thing I heard someone talking about the other week re: Kennedy was how he used to be one of the few guys who threw a lot of high fastballs. Now, a lot of guys are taking that approach. Also hurts him. I still don’t want to take on an extra year of Fowler at huge $$$ to get rid of him, though. |

Yeah at this point you have to just ride out that ugly contract for 2 1/2 more years. It's not like he is hurting the team this year as they aren't close to contending.
The other option is eating it, but that's a lot of money and un-Royals like. Perhaps Pitching him next year and eating the final year is realistic. |

How about moving his ass to the pen? Maybe he does well there and a team may want him if we eat about half the money.
|
If Kennedy throws a no hitter tonight we still couldn't trade him.

I'm just here to help, guys. |
I'm sick and bored in my last week in Panama - re-watching all the Royals' playoff wins again. Hoo boy did we get lucky - at least through game 1 of Baltimore. It's like the parallel universe version of Chiefs in the playoffs.
WC game (duh): Coming back down 4 in a WC is always lucky. So many balls that were just caught or just missed by the As. Dyson almost over-slid the bag and created an all time Chiefs-esque moment. Pitchout but Norris drops the ball. And finally there were Royals literally in the field of play before Colon scored the winner. If that were the Chiefs you damn well know the refs would have called it. Angels series first two games seemed like the Angels had about 5x more chances to score, then we pull it out with extra inning homers. After the Royals hit like 2 extra inning homers all year or something. Baltimore game 1 - Esky homers lol. Gordon hits a ball that I've never quite seen - a broken bat looper that refuses to drift even a foot towards the line. The right-fielder and Gordo didn't move at first because they were sure it would be foul. Just happened to be with the bases-loaded with 2 outs in Game 1 of the ALCS too. |

Dumb stupid question from the press. No wonder these managers are always so guarded with these numskulls. |
Dozier has his second home run of the year.
|
Kennedy has been a MVP candidate for us this year. Without him we’d definitely be picking lower in the draft.
|
and just like that, kennedy can't win.
#yosted. |
**** your trade value Herrera.
|
Kennedy throws a good game. Herrea blows it. Baseball is a funny game.
