And this is why I'm all for it. Not only that....but you can extend Hill so that his cap hits don't get huge until after Watkins is gone. You can extend Thomas so that his cap hits aren't huge until Berry's contract is ready to be voided. Shit can be managed so that we can bring Thomas in and still keep the guys that we want to.

I don't think we cut Houston next year. Dee Ford is the one that needs to be replaced. Cutting Houston would mean you extend/franchise Ford and that is a terrible move. I think we need to use O'Daniel more. I agree that Ragland was a stopgap and look for Niemann to take his place before the end of the season.
