He had his Easter weekend ruined… punishment enough.

All for a non-issue.

A bunch of people's lives flashed in front of their eyes. He caused the wreck (probably) then bolted from the scene w/o checking on anyone. It's not a non-issue.

Jalen Carter in Georgia says HELLO. I still can’t believe Henry Ruggs is only serving 3-10 years for killing a person while driving 150 mph on a 30 mph road. If THAT is the standard, Rashee should pretty much walk away pretty clean on this deal.

Waited all day for that LMAO

Does Rice have a good agent or a lower level guy?

His agent probably received a text from an unknown number that said "we got this" right before Mr. West flopped his cock out with the public statement.

Yeah this sounds likely. But after Ruggs and Jalen Carter, the league may throw the book at him a little more.

It's not good optics to give a player a slap on the wrist when they're on video leaving the scene of an accident they caused by racing like a maniac.

He “probably caused the wreck? Based on what tangible evidence?

Having a vehicle registered in your name involved in an accident doesn’t mean you actually caused the accident.

And of course the people who suffered only minor physical injuries are now suddenly on the “pain and suffering” gravy train as soon they learned an NFL player’s vehicle was involved.

Royce is a pretty powerful and very well connected attorney. Rice has got some good representation

srvy 04-01-2024 02:46 PM

Seems like Rice hired one of the best Lawyers in Dallas with 40 years of practicing law. Has lots of influence in Texas. I would imagine the Hunts had a lot to do with this dumbass Rice being represent by him. Our wide-out highway racing A-hole receiver is lucky the Hunts have influence around Texas.

People that run are dirty most likely. Cause the wreck is unknown but pretty obvious he had no interest in the cops. Guilty of something.

Behind the scenes power moves.

Eh.

State Senators and Reps are part-time gigs; often only in session for 2-3 months out of the year (no idea how long Texas is in session for). Those guys all have jobs outside of the statehouse.

A SLEW of the Missouri guys when I was down there were guys who were partners at their law firm, had smaller caseloads, didn't want to do the grind and essentially saw the spring legislative session as something of a sabbatical from their caseloads. And they could still do some quasi-lobbying on behalf of their industry/clientbase while they were down there.

Doesn't seem super 'behind the scenes' to me - this sort of thing happens quite a bit and for people with a hell of a lot less money than the Hunt family.

The OP from the beginning when he originally titled this thread “Rashee Rice Goodbye” confirmed he has some sort of sick and demented bias against Rashee.
