I didn't "advise", just offered some "advice", Biff.

Now I gotta take shit from people who cant spell, gotta love the planet.

But by and large, the vast majority of women simply cannot build muscles like you see on a man without medicinal help. That's just how it works.

Yes, women can "bulk" like men, by eating lots of protein and lots of calories, but it's still physiologically different. Too many women are afraid that lifting heavy will make them look like She-Hulk, when the opposite is true. Higher weight with less reps will give them the desired outcome. Just because they lift like a man won't make them look like a man.

Oh, I agree, but I don't like it when a woman (or guy for that matter) has some degree of musculature and it's automatically assumed that they are juicing.

Oh, while on the subject of excerise, I couldn't get to the gym last night, so I had to do back/tricep at home. First time I've done pullups since going back to the gym five/six weeks ago and, man, my body weight pullups absolutely sucked. Did less reps than before I started working out at the gym again. Kinda depressing.

Amazing when we have a thread where CE is actively involved and he is only #3 on the troll list.

I'm an awesome troll when I apply myself.

:D I agree, and admitted I was wrong about female physiology when it comes to weightlifting... but I didn't always smoke and wasn't always out of shape, there was a time my dear man when I was like a Greek sculpture/drifts off wistfully...

But yeah, the rest of what I said stands and it works.

I never said that it was automatic. I simply said that women aren't going to get huge muscles without help.

I know lots of muscular guys and ladies that don't juice. But the women still look like women. Contrast that to some of the women bodybuilders at the gym, and there's a HUGE difference. That difference is made possible through injections.

The only reason steroids come up so often is because it's VERY common. And I actually do not look down at anyone who does. I've looked into it myself. I'm simply saying that the training methods and results for those who do use drugs are different from those who don't, so taking results from one group and trying to apply the methodology and results to the other doesn't usually work. I only ask that those who do be honest about it so that others can see exactly what went on to make the results possible. I don't think that's asking too much.

And testosterone is also one of the main reasons why men lose weight faster than women. Lucky bunch of assholes. :p

Yup. Whenever we go on a cut together, my wife HAAAAAAAAATES me. She's so jealous of how easily the weight comes off compared to her.

See, I do.

I think it's a total pussy move. It's like breast augmentation, collagen lip injections for men.

And you aren't going to find many people being honest with it because it's viewed as cheating as well as being illegal.

I'd look at the very first post of the thread.

Um, 4,000? 5,000? I dunno. Haven't been keeping track of calories. I eat lots of ice cream and pizza and random shit with lots of protein that tastes good. Only for another week, though. I'm overtrained like crazy. Taking a month off of lifting and soccer to focus on yoga and resting. Gonna cut my cals back to about 1500-1800 then.

I have three teams playing for indoor soccer championships on different days this week, though, so first things first.

That's cool - honestly I feel totally lost as to how many calories to intake, daily.

I know we've been down this road in the older thread - I simply have forgotten the formula. Not sure it matters - but I'm 6' 1" -- 183 LBS - would like to add some additional muscle - but not interested in getting ginormous, or very big - Just want to add some more meat - and rip. I'm already on my way - but truthfully I'm not sure if I've been ingesting 2k cals. or 2,500 cals. - per day - but in the areana.

How can I find the right approach - and maybe, what should that approach be?
