I just saw a thread on the SEC rant Mizzou board, there is a rumor going on that Justin Smith has quit his assistant volunteer position in the weight room. A family friend that works for Justin, said Smith was criticizing Ricker on how poor the offensive line has performed.

Ricker definitely needs to go right the **** now. Good on Justin for calling a spade a spade.

There was a similar rumor on PowerMizzou that was shot down pretty quickly. Smith actually hasn't been working with the team for awhile; since prior to the first game I think.

Thanks for clarifying, I was hoping its true so Ricker gets shit canned quicker.

College Gameday is at the Liberty Bell in Philly, which is a 15 minute walk from my apartment. Should I bring a "Fire AJ Ricker" sign tomorrow?

Sure. Doesn't mean that Smith didn't criticize Ricker (pretty funny if so), just that if he did, it was a while ago.

Not sure if there is any interest or anyone in Columbia on this thread, but I have 6 tickets to the game this Thursday that I won't be able to use. Bought them at a silent raffle after drinking all day and didn't realize it was a Thursday night game at the time. Anyhow...seats are in section 313 row 2. All side by side.

Not expecting to get my $$ back...just trying to cover a little of the loss. Let me know if anyone is interested!

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri junior quarterback Maty Mauk has been suspended from the team for disciplinary reasons, as announced today by Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel.
