I have to make the most of mine since my buddy made that trade and I was unable to get back the picks I traded away. I feel like I'm way behind the eight ball and essentially two picks behind, but it is what it is.

You can make some up in the rookie draft though...There will be really good players available there.

The dude only picked up a first for a 8th and a 12th (and a 3rd in teh rookie draft), there's definitely talent to be had, but not enough that I can be careless right now.

Well, technically he got a 18th or 20th (hell I don't remember which) and a 33rd too, but yeah, I thanked him.
I tried to fix it after the fact, but to no avail. I'm just trying to make the best of it and see what I can do. I like my team OK, but it should be better.

The hell I didn't. I sent a PM asking that you give me your 9th (since you had already made the 8th) and we swap the rest back (essentially you would have gotten my 8th for your 9th) and it went unanswered.

It was my own fault for giving the guy my password and I never said otherwise. I could resend the PM, but inasmuch as they don't have time stamps, it wouldn't do any good. The rookie thing, I STILL think is BS, but that's another issue completely and has nothing to do with this. I made my case with it and was shot down.

Well, truebigdog, you'll be glad to know that I made the call to do a new random draw on the "remainder round" to complete everyone's rosters. So you won the day on that call, because otherwise I would've just made it Round 34.

The bad news for you is the position you drew. But hey, it could be worse.
