Peralta seriously has no ****ing range at SS. All his fatass does is belly flop on ground balls and suck at the plate.

This could possibly be the worst defensive infield by a Cards team I have ever seen.

Adams and Wong are the best right side in baseball right now.

Peralta is one of the better defensive shortstops in baseball, this year included. He's a legitimate defensive upgrade from Kozma. And Bourjos can hit .200 and still be a more valuable CF than Jay based solely upon his speed and the number of runs he saves.

Jay is a a POS turd.

Do they take range into consideration when evaluating a defense because I swear if the ball is not hit right at him he looks slow as hell and usually is late on dives.

Just the eye test of watching Crawford compared to Peralta in the Giants series.

Just fire Mabry already

Yup. Peralta is third in baseball in UZR for shortstops.

Hey Cards fans,

Driving down to St. Louis tomorrow for the game tomorrow night. Hope it' a good one and best of luck to both teams. Wondering if there's any notable places to eat downtown or around the park during the day before the game?

Never been to Busch so I am pretty excited, always love experiencing new ballparks.

Shannon's or Paddy O's are my favorite spots.. But I'm a bandwagon fan, so what would I know?

Marcellus 06-03-2014 05:52 PM

Wong with the slam.

I understand they paid Ellis $5 million. But that was insurance money. Right now we don't need to file a claim on that insurance. Why sit Wong until he is batting worse than the .150 Ellis is hitting against left handers? You get better defense with Wong. It's a head scratcher.

Mi_chief_fan 06-03-2014 06:52 PM

**** you Mike Matheny, and **** you Mo for not having the balls to take this stupid bastard out.

Pepe Silvia 06-03-2014 07:00 PM

**** that guy, final straw with me.

Jewish Rabbi 06-03-2014 07:01 PM

Seriously. Can we ****ing fire Matheny yet? I don't even care if we come back and win this game. No excuse for that one who sucks the penis.

kcpasco 06-03-2014 07:05 PM

Maness in a tight ballgame? This guy is a launching pad.

Marcellus 06-03-2014 07:06 PM

Everything you guys just said.
