Since some are dissatisfied with AS11's play who do you think they should start at QB after the bye.

I hate Smiths stats, they straight up suck. He has not been good lately but his ability to not turn the ball over is a big reason we are undefeated. Not turning the ball over is more important than td passes. It leads to more wins period. It must because he is like 27-5.

And I for one did not want Smith to leave. But I'm sorry if I offended anyone and will delete this account. Thank you for your time |

LMAO |
The 9ers swindled us, yet they have a worse passing offense than we do

Yea, if only the 49ers had Smith's 6.09y/a instead of CK's 8.0. :hmmm:
If only Kaep could have taken 26 sacks like Smith, instead of 15... :hmmm: |

I think he's an average nfl qb that when surrounded by talent hast he ability to play at an above average level. |
Surrounded by talent. LMAO that's.......great.....

Because pioli said that about cassel it can never be true about any other qb, right? Matt Ryan doesn't need his all pro wrs, tes. Brady can do it without welker and gronk. Big Ben don't need no mike Wallace. Apparently qbs league wide can win games all on their own throwing to scrubs. |

If I were you, I would wish for something better, and attainable, like an AFC Championship (followed by a loss to the Niners in the Superbowl, of course.) Your only path to getting rid of the Niner fans around here is if Alex starts losing and gets benched. You don't want that, do you? Having us Niners fans around is simply the price you pay for victory. :) |
Dwayne Bowe is a stud. Andy and John know this and are paying him accordingly.
Avery had 800 yards last year. Charles is a top 3 RB. We have talent. |

Stop saying Alex Smith "leads." Our defense scored more points than the offense did against Buffalo for god's sake. |

Sheesh. Then what? So, Alex Smith is not a LEADER? is that where this is going now? |

No doubt about it. |

Kind of like driving a VW. Not exciting, but at least it gets you where you want to go. (For me, having been taking the bus or even walking for the previous 8 seasons, I was pretty happy with the VW.) Now, having a Porsche, of course, I enjoy it much more that the VW. I understand your envy of the Porsche, but hey, we can't all drive sports cars. Keep working and maybe you can have a Porsche someday too, or even convert your existing VW into a Porsche. For the time being, try being happy you are not on the bus or walking. |

We gave up a second for Cassel and now two seconds for Cassel without the turnovers.

What are your low expectations and what are your high expectations for Alex. I'm actually wondering. |

Smith is a quality veteran starting QB. I can't think of anyone (in the real world) that would say he isn't. He's flawed, sure, He's the opposite of a Romo type gunslinger. Cautious to a fault. But i do absolutely believe that any other QB that the Chiefs could've acquired in the off-season would have cost the Chiefs games, plural, This season. I admit Geno Smith is playing better than I thought he would, and could become good in a few years, but like you said, 9-0 doesn't happen very often, and you must take advantage while its here, and I do feel Geno would squander that record by costing a game, possibly in the playoffs. Anyway, continue, but I know Smith is helping them win, and I'm confident in saying that if any other QB that was available is here instead, the Chiefs aren't 9-0. |

Alex has not been a quality starting vet QB this season. He hasn't thrown a TD in 5 of 9 games this season. Has been atrocious on third down, and can't utilize his weapons. Also, Jason Campbell would be9-0 with this defense. |

Alex Smith, In the Right Place After eight rocky seasons in San Francisco, the quarterback has found a perfect new home in Kansas City—and Andy Reid has the ideal player to run his offense By Peter King |
Cant wait to see what happens next Monday night. I think Andy and Alex are gonna turn heads (in a good way). We've definitely been holding back on Offense and Defense the past couple weeks. I'm calling a 300+ yard passing day for Sir Alex.

Just curious. I also think the idea that the Chiefs have been holding back is a bit of. They didn't hold anything back in the first half against the Browns. You don't hold things back in close games, which the Chiefs have been in all season. I find it highly unlikely the Chiefs have any awesome plays/formations/schemes they haven't already used, more than halfway through the season. That's not the way coaches work, even at the college level (where they have much more margin for holding things back against more inferior opponents). |
