Rec drugs aren’t a suspension penalty anymore.

Yea, I'd rather have a RB who plays big in all games. 3 yards a carry ain't it. Nobody is scared of him. And the guy isn't doing any favors for Mahomes either.

Totally agree  . This offense is already other worldly when they want to be...put a top class back into the mix and things will get very nasty for the rest of the league imo.

Alcohol and undiagnosed mental disorder/depression were always Smith’s biggest issues.

Hard to imagine he has a ton left in the tank after 4 years out of football, but if he really has turned himself around, I’m glad to see it and glad he isn’t in Oakland to try to do it.

Won't be long before he goes full Raytown on another woman.

TomBarndtsTwin 04-02-2020 08:12 AM

You can take the boy out of Raytown, but you can’t take the Raytown out of the boy.

Full Disclosure: spent a significant amount of time in Raytown during my childhood.

Also the Raiders deal with Eli Apple fell through.

Quote:

The Las Vegas Raiders and free-agent cornerback Eli Apple were unable to finalize a contract, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Apple, who played last season with the New Orleans Saints, remains a free agent.

Apple had agreed to a one-year contract with the Raiders on March 18, sources told Schefter, and he had posted to Instagram that he was "excited to start a new journey as a Raider."

CB's left on the market.

Dennard (visited with the Chiefs last year)
Breeland
Apple
Ryan
Amukamara
Colvin
Kirkpatrick
Johnson
Talib

I suspect many of these guys will still be available after the draft aswell. We got Breeland and Claiborne cheap last year and I wonder if Veach could do the same thing again? Which two out of this group fit Spags's system the best though?

I haven't really seen much chatter about it but....any chance we bring T-Sizzle back on a one year deal?

Terrell Suggs did a radio interview last week on 105.7 The Fan out of Baltimore.

He is trying to decide if he is ready for retirement or not. He said his body would tell him. He had not gotten into hard workouts yet which he thinks will be his indication.

I do not see the Chiefs trying to sign him until they see how the players on the team and the draft shapes up.

He was a good fit at the time we had a need.

MAHOMO 4 LIFE! 04-04-2020 10:37 AM

Suggs will either retire or go back to Baltimore. He helped us in the run game a lot and got a ring while at it. Props to Veach for getting him.
