There's zero reason why this shouldn't be settled before this weekend's games. Why are you simping so hard?

It should be no contest bc that’s what it was. Can’t determine a win or loss based on a little over 8 mins of game time. It also shouldn’t be marked as a tie for that reason as well.

IMO it should be marked and no contest and let the 2 teams finish with 16 games and seedlings will be determined by win %

I know it was just a half a quarter or whatever, but it really did feel like Cincy was going to win the game.

I suspect it will be settled beforehand. But I also think it's possible the NFL is hoping that some series of events happens during the games that makes it easier for them to avoid tough decisions.

Regardless, the Chiefs need to play to win the game. I'm thankful that this entire situation means that we're no longer getting screwed vis-a-vis other teams by being forced to play Saturday. That was absurd.

I just checked the standings. The Chiefs are in the #1 spot as of now. With a win Saturday that won't change unless the BUF vs CIN reaches a conclusion. I don't see that happening at this point being the Playoffs begin next week. Chiefs will retain the #1 seed.

Chiefs win, and we're 1 or 2. I'd love a bye, but home field through the divisional round is good, too. Chiefs can only control what they can control, and, this week, that's Vegas.

Should've thought about that before they chose not to resume the game this week...

Had CIN chose to keep playing you'd be right. Had they done so BUF would have been forced to forfeit. They chose what they chose, it is a no contest. I'm good with that.
