ChiefsPlanet - Chiefs Marcus Peters traded to Rams

I don't care if you despise Peters you don't trade him for pennies on the dollar when you can buy 2-3 years of control of him. He hasn't made hold out money yet and he has to play hard or he won't get paid by anyone else.

This is literally just throwing him away just do to it.

Mecca - at some point you have to question his efforts (provided he never got his ways)

If they kept him around much longer, you might very well have a situation where things really explode and the locker room gives up on the entire staff.

His effort says he's a top flight player. If you trade him for pennies on the dollar you make your organization a laughing stock and the butt of jokes, is that worth it?

Chiefs would have been in a lot better position doing that rather than trading Peters. At least they would have gotten out from under his big contract.

You clearly have a low threshold for determining what is reputable.

Terez Paylor unlike a random poster's anonymous source is credible and Terez has indicated that Peters is liked by many of his team mates and some players are upset about the trade.

I'm going to assume that the Chiefs know Peter's is going to be difficult to sign long term and that he'd probably rather be a Raider so he gets traded to the Rams.

And if the Chiefs sign someone like Talib, the same guys that are bashing Peters for being a bad locker room guy and a loose cannon on the field will praise that signing.
