The same team that just traded Alex Smith so PM2 can play is now appeasing racist? LMAO You can't make this shit up.

This is literally just throwing him away just do to it.

Mecca - at some point you have to question his efforts (provided he never got his ways)

For all of the greatness that Peters puts out on the field, I take some of the things we’ve heard abou today and formulate this POV: if you have things like what SAUTO said going on, and you have a guy who wants out of KC, who won’t re-sign, who is irritable, who bitches at coaches, etc... then the on-field play becomes rather insignificant in the decision process here of whether to trade him or not.

The reports and stories lead me to believe that Peters was a ticking time bomb at any given moment, and that he did in fact blow up sometimes. That kind of attitude can spark the fire that will destroy any solid locker room chemistry that you have. At that point, his big plays are nullified because he’s having a massive negative effect on other aspects of the organization.

If they kept him around much longer, you might very well have a situation where things really explode and the locker room gives up on the entire staff.

It's so negative that his teammates didn't want him traded...uh huh

His effort says he's a top flight player. If you trade him for pennies on the dollar you make your organization a laughing stock and the butt of jokes, is that worth it?

And some of them did, according to KC media writer Matt Derrick. A guy who has connections to the locker room.

Chiefs would have been in a lot better position doing that rather than trading Peters. At least they would have gotten out from under his big contract.

An anonymous source who you don't know "seems reputable".

You clearly have a low threshold for determining what is reputable.

Terez Paylor unlike a random poster's anonymous source is credible and Terez has indicated that Peters is liked by many of his team mates and some players are upset about the trade.

philfree 02-23-2018 07:55 PM

I'm going to assume that the Chiefs know Peter's is going to be difficult to sign long term and that he'd probably rather be a Raider so he gets traded to the Rams.

Matt Derrick? Sounds like a white dude. Probably racist...

Yes - West Village is south of 14th street on the west side. Chelsea north of 14th street. You’re now a NYC expert! Come and stay awhile.

Kelce had personal fouls in the first two games of the year, a year after he was ejected and collected multiple personal fouls.

People were literally saying the same thing about Peters right before that Jets game.

"He hasn't had any issues since he punted that football in Houston." "I'd yell at Sutton, too."

These guys are always reformed right until the next time they flip out.

They are two sides of the same coin.

And if the Chiefs sign someone like Talib, the same guys that are bashing Peters for being a bad locker room guy and a loose cannon on the field will praise that signing.

no wait - i meant if you hold him hostage to a MUST PLAY for KC situation. that's all i meant - i could see him dropping his efforts.

This kinda how I feel, the old white guy contingent was out strong in support of the trade. I'm sure even if we got back a bag of hot dogs they'd be cool with it.
