Not the point, but I'd have severe mixed feelings if Eli Apple got a Chiefs SB ring.

Don't forget Larry Brown in 1995. I know Raiders fans haven't forgotten.

Von Miller was the most recent defensive player one of the Seahawks players did it in Super Bowl 48 Richard Dent from the 85 Bears Larry Brown from the Cowboys Steelers part 2 Charlie Howly in Super Bowl 10 or whatever. Dexter Jackson over the Raiders for the Buccaneers.

Yeah, not sure where all this talk of us rolling the Rams is coming from. For one they'd actually be able to do their bread and butter running the ball since our rush defense is bottom half of the league. Wouldn't be getting much pressure at all on Stafford without blitzing either consider our DL is a bunch of bumpkins.

I have no doubt it would be a hard-fought game between KC and Rams.

If Beckham wasn't injured, the Rams win this game easily. They were tracking that way.

It's the Super Bowl. We didn't roll either the 49ers or Bucs. Would be a tough game but we'd have a good chance.

Gonna be hard. As the Chiefs found out, the Super Bowl losers curse is a real mother****er.

Just ridiculous we gave away a Super Bowl.

Agreed. I think we would have routed the Rams by at least 2 scores even IF Higbee and OBJ played. Our guys had a very difficult time playing all 60 minutes in each game this last season either because they were bored after getting up and just wanted to go home and expecting their opponent to recognize they are the Chiefs so you may as well lay down in which they obviously did not. And once you decide you want to go home it is very very difficult to get it started again. I call it "press clip reading" syndrome.

We lose 54 IF Shanny decides to run the ball when it was 20-10 plain and simple IMHO.

Based on what? We didn't rout anyone this season other than the Steelers and Raiders.

That's probably true. Or if Jimmy G was a better QB.

Sometimes you win Super Bowls because of good fortune and the other team messing up.

Still a legitimate win.

stevegroganfan 02-13-2022 09:40 PM

Titans, Bills, Packers, 49ers and Bucs probably all feel as though they blew it just as much as the Chiefs.

My bad, I should have made the caveat statement "assuming we were hitting on all cylinders" which might have happened.......being the SB.... you never know.
