sort of out of control this weekend. Yesterday I ate a roast beef combo at Arbys w/ Diet Coke, this Afternoon, double cheese combo at McDonalds. OKAY! It's out of my system. I went to kroger and bought a shit-ton of chicken breasts, some EAS drinks, hi-fiber yogurt, diet cherry pepsi, brown rice and corn. Oh, also maple turkey slices, I've eaten tilapia for like the last week, almost. But, I'm hitting it hard today, run four mis, ab-routine, and work pecs and shoulders. Not sure why I craved such shit food.

I made an energy-bomb, I put 12 scoops of creatine in it, i wanna see if this shit works!

Just joking, I did (however) - make a reg. creatine drink containing one scoop;)

Reviewed my log for the week, and I did a total of about 40 miles this week. In six days. I only actually ran about 10 of those though. Still, that shatters my old record of 32 miles in a week and that week I ran none of them. :)

I'm dedicated to not doing anything today. Day off. I'm also going to change my routine up a little bit. I'm going to lift M-W-F and run T-Th-Sa. I'm tired of competing for machines at 7am on Saturday morning.

good job, Floppy.

no looking back now. Keep it up! - I'm 66.6% complete for the day, abs and running complete. Just need to work arms chest etc...

Not usually.

Soccer this morning. Pancakes for lunch. Mmm. 3 scoops of protein powder is the rest of my food for the day to make up for the extra calories. Totally worth it.

Well, money has been tight but I absolutely had to replace my old Fila running shoes. Buying a hundred dollar plus pair was just not an option, so I got these. They were comfortable as shit in the store, but the real test will come when I run 2.5 miles in the morning. Anyone have New Balance? Did I **** up or do alright?

New balance makes excellent shoes.

I hope so. I just bought those Filas about 4 months ago. I'm hoping these will last me a little longer. Although by the time these need to be replaced I'm sure I'll be buying an awesome pair.

Okay. While I'm at it, I went out and got some Creatine powder today. This shit has 170 calories in it and I'm supposed to drink 2 scoops a day for the first 2 weeks. That's 350 ****ing calories. Is there an alternative for me for this? Or am I just stuck with these calories while I try to build some muscle?

Silock 03-28-2010 10:24 PM

I would take the shoes back. You need to go to a real running store and have your stride analyzed by a pro. It doesn't matter if they're comfortable in the store. What matters is if they give your foot the kind of support it needs (ie giving you more support if you need motion control shoes, you're a pronator, that kind of thing).

Take it back, re-read the thread ;)

No need to load creatine. You take 5g per day, every day.

Also, you just need creatine monohydrate (5g) or Kre-Alkalyn (1.5g). There shouldn't be any extra calories in it.

Something like this:
