Yeah...that's the thing. Every pitcher has a limited shelf life, you don't know how long any of them will last, especially an arm like Strasburg. Why not take advantage of his health when you can...when you're actually in the playoffs? It was a bad move.

Agreed. Its baseball. You can't promise yourself you are going to get chances with teams like this every year. I don't know how the players didn't riot when they officially shut him down. All 24 men should have busted the GM's door down.

Even after last years experience, I was resigned to a loss. I think all of cardinal nation was resigned to a loss.

I don't have a clue what to say except holy shit! This team is the anti Chiefs. They keep showing up in the clutch. That's why they have 11 Championships.

It just occured to me that while I love the Chiefs more than anything I own 10x more Cardinal gear. Winners win.
