You also refuse to commit to whether that's Rice or not, or whether that person was driving, so that if one is proven you can just fall back to the other. You're basically just playing lawyer for the defense, and should be discounted as such. |
However this turns out, it still has to be a shitty place to be for Veach and co for two year running now... a big dark cloud hanging around right before the ****ing draft
If Rice somehow manages to basically skate on this, that mfer better have his own personal come to Jesus meeting, and start making better choices |

Right. Its not a fact yet. What will make it a fact is it being a fact. When the fact is established by something more relevant than a maybe...or how he was walking, or someone on CP thinking it is the same mustache... When the fact has been established, then it will be a fact. Until then its speculation or guess. |

You're the one deflecting idiot. You asked me to provide evidence for him being at the scene of the accident. You're so ****ing dumb man, you can't even remember what you typed 10 minutes before. |
There is a bigger picture beyond the pictures. Rice is represented by a powerful member of the Texas legislature. He also appears to be backed by one of the richest families in the country. He was involved in an accident with rather minor consequences.
There will be political pressure put on the DA to go easy on this case and there will be no political pressure whatsoever to pursue it. Prosecuting these guys will not be any kind of priority for the DA's office and going easy on the culprits will result in some political capital for that individual who almost certainly has his/her sights set on higher office. This case may or may not be dropped, but it will never see the inside of a courtroom barring some new extraordinary evidence coming to light. I expect a plea-bargain down to lesser charges that will result in no jail time. If there is a NFL suspension, it will be no more than 2 games. |

Okay, so they have Rice at the scene.
They'll probably/presumably have security footage from the restaurant with him drinking, potentially with the number of drinks he had. But maybe not. But maybe. As far as the timeline goes: Did they go straight from the restaurant to the crash? If so, is there security cam / video footage of him getting into the driver seat? If so, is there a trail of footage that leads to the crash, without any major gaps in between? |

And even if he was on the scene, that doesn’t prove he was driving the vehicle. You are refuting skepticism with flimsy (and that’s being generous) and highly circumstantial “evidence”. Try harder. |
