Hate crimes are bullshit, just for the reason we are having this discussion. how the hell can you tell if a person does something out of total hatred for another based on their race\sex\sexual orientation? you can't. This is just more bs to muddy the waters. All crimes should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Singling out victims and making them more "special" is racism in and of itself.
