That argument doesn't fly.....you don't get to give a guy 420 carries because he didn't play for 2 years. You give a RB 400 carries at any point regardless of past he's likely going to start to dramatically decline very quickly.

Also hey the Raiders suck now but I saw them play in a Superbowl that's more than I can say for the team we cheer for.

Injury Report Update on Larry Johnson

Nov 13, 2007, 11:49:57 AM

The swelling continues to decrease in Larry Johnson’s injured right foot. He is continuing to receive rehab treatments twice a day.

On Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, he was on the sidelines without crutches with his team before the game.

Johnson’s condition will continue to be evaluated each week with an appointment to see a foot specialist next week Monday, November 19th. His playing status for this Sunday’s game in Indianapolis has been determined as out.

My source tells me that it's a confirmed Lis Franc injury but no surgery needed. Thats what he's doing this week. Confirming that surgery isn't needed. Just rest. Evidently there are different degrees of the Lis Franc injury and LJ's is a minor one.

BTW, Priest is done. He has been told that the next hit in the right spot could paralze him or even kill him.

I've been saying for the past two weeks, and people still think this is new information. My dad does this for a living in the ER everyday and he called it

Anyone agree with me now?

dude ripped off a 48 yard run. he had over 100 yards. sure, he's never going to be a worldbeater again (probably). but can he be serviceable? yes.

in other words, your and idiot.

I think the big $$$ contract has done more to hamper LJ's performance than a 400 carry season or foot injury.

You consider the 100 yds he had in the second half a great feat? You realize ATL was playing nickle D and pass rushing figuring if KC wanted to run the ball and run the clock out of a pointless game then let them. BTW Diaper Boy ran the ball 7 times for 20 yds in first half.

kcxiv 09-21-2008 10:50 PM

I think poor playcalling and a horrible ****ing line had alot to do with it. Once they ran off tackle he was ripping off long runs at will almost. I dont know why it took Herm and Chan 10 quarters to figure it out.

I doubt they were playing Nickel. The Chiefs only had 1 and 2 WR's out on the field. It makes no sense to go into a nickel at the start of the 3rd quarter.

The nickle defense is a bunch of crap. I recall seeing 8 men in the box ALOT while LJ was bouncing to the outside for big gains.

Convice yourself and tell yourself whatever you want but Diaper Boy had 20 yds on 7 carries in the first half.

Im 5/6th sure that in the next couple weeks, that LJ will get 'injured' again, so he doesn't have to sit through anymore of this shit.

"Oww! My vagina!! I hurt!! (Expletive)" Larry Johnson.
