You can't get rid of Gunt.

He always comes back.

Edwards is resigning.

Decided he'd rather begin watching Super Bowls now since he finally realized he'll never coach in one. :D

Heh. He won't do that anyways. He's way too prideful and stubborn.

Carl has always said that it is his head coaches job to hire and fire.

Herm doesn't hire or fire upper management only coaches and their underlings.

So if Carl was to resign, I doubt Herm would be the one announcing it-that's all I'm getting at.

So true, He would rather run this franchise so far into the ground it will take years to recover, rather than just admit, he doesnt have a freaking clue on the NFL or College Level.

Dave Lane 03-19-2008 11:58 AM

OK is he quitting or is he just going to announce we will forgo a Offense this year and just have 53 Defensive players?

Dave

Unless the rumors are true that Clark wants Herm to take over for Carl...

"We're going to establish a new way of playing football. Many years ago pioneers like Paul Brown and Vince Lombardi invented methods of playing that game that are still used today. We believe our "Tackle and Punt" strategy will be a new innovation to lead the NFL into a new era. Remember when the forward pass was introduced? This is going to have the same impact. Our new, creative way of playing football eliminates turnovers completely."

You mean linebackers who were converted to fullbacks!!! Worst case, we can always convert Demorio, DJ, Donnie, and Nap to Fullback. We'll run a set with Waters at C and the rest of the line being fullbacks formerly known as linebackers. On an X-O diagram, all of these players would be seen as the symbol for the Artist Formerly Known as Prince.

Madden would have a field day with it....

Don't forget about our goal-line threat...
