Just to clarify.

Present tense. Name somebody better and I'll consider them. I can't think of one, though.

Throw the rock in his direction and, odds are, he'll catch the damn thing and drag the two guys covering him for 5 or 10.

FAX

He's obviously a locker room cancer.

Don't let me ever see you brag about Gonzalez again. Not when Herm is fired at the end of this season and Tony shines for four or six more seasons. Not even when Tony's inducted.

Because I'll pull up every one of these posts you've made tonight.

Go nuts.

Yeah, I advocated cutting the guy...way to go all Pete-like emotional.

I've never said he WASN'T a HOF'er.

I have said that I'm disappointed that he took this route, and turned his back on the team.

I have said that he's a prima-donna, because a record was more important to him than the TEAM breaking a 12 game losing streak.

His performance as a football player isn't in question.

His leadership qualities at this point and time, are.

Dead serious.

So someone who plays say, WR and goes to 8 pro bowls and plays for 12 years is more important than someone who plays MLB and goes to 6 pro bowls and plays for 10 years?

The point is, you can't compare, because they are asked to do entirely different things.

So basically, it comes down to a popularity contest.

What the hell do they have to do? Direct snap to the TE?

YOUR TEAM DOESN'T HAVE A QUARTERBACK.

That can cut down on receptions.

Basically it says to the rest of the guys "Sorry you aren't good enough to be on the team with" While i love the bullshit drama and hopefully add to Carl and Herm getting axed, i see your point.

While true, the Chiefs doesn't have a O-Line that could keep the QB's jersey clean, particituarly the right side of the O-line.

Even I understand his disappointment in not breaking the record at home against the team that employed the guy who held the record.

That's the team I follow.

Is he a prima dona? NO! NOTHING like the guy who's record he broke.

I can't believe the argument I'm having here.

Was I asking you?

I was asking a CHIEFS fan if he meant excel, or excelled.

It's obvious that TG has excelled. I was wondering if Mr. FAX felt that he was STILL excelling.

Pretty fair question.

Thank you.

Someone ****ing gets it.

No you weren't.

And you're not listening to anybody you ask tonight, so what does it matter?

I don't have a problem with him being disappointed.

I have a problem with him sulking through the locker room of a young team that is excited as hell to have broken a 12 game losing streak.

Then, if that isn't enough, he has to complain to the media about it into the following week of preparation for the next game.

Go home and cry on October's shoulder, but don't take what the TEAM accomplished away from them.

I'm gonna get bashed again for this, but had he gained 1 more yard on three of his catches that day, we wouldn't be having this conversation...

ClevelandBronco 10-14-2008 10:55 PM

Problem is, Mr. OnThewarpath58, you're not a football fan. You're a Chiefs fan.

We'll never be able to agree because you care more about your team's colors than you care about the team's players.

It wasn't hard hehe....

Seriously though they should've traded him and gotten the best compensation they could imo, whether if it was a 3rd or 4th rounder at best. I wouldn't want to keep him here, esp since he doesn't want to be here.

Wrong again.

I'm a HUGE football fan. I try to watch as many games as I can on Sundays.

Where you are right is when it comes to the Chiefs, yes, I care more about the team than any one player that contributes to it.
