The Eagles would have liked to have had "Beanie" Wells fall to them at this spot but it didn't happen. I could go with an OT but I don't think that there is one right now worth the 21st selection. Brian Westbrook is almost 30 and we all know what the means to RBs. He's now injury prone and doesn't last an entire season. So with the 21st pick in the 1st round, the Philadelphia Eagles select:

Knowshon Moreno, RB, University of Georgia.

The CP Mock Draft isn't fun unless you can piss another team off. :thumb:

Listen, as long as you go RB for the Chiefs in the 3rd round all is forgiven.

So, one old POS and one young POS.

Fred Taylor doesn't solve anything at the RB position. He's just another guy, just like every other RB on the roster.

With the 22nd pick of the first round and still reeling from their loss in Super Bowl IV the Minnesota Vikings select Alex Mack, center, Cal.

OnTheWarpath15 03-03-2009 04:59 PM

Knowing that it's unlikely that he's still available when our early 2nd round pick comes around, the Patriots do what they did last year with Jarod Mayo - target a player, and take him, even if others think he's a reach.

This guy is the epitome of the Patriot Way, and will help solidify the middle of the Patriots defense for the next decade alongside Mayo.

Adios, Tedy Bruschi.

The New England Patriots select:

James Laurinaitis, ILB, Ohio State

I should be on around 8-9 PST to make my pick.....if it's progessed that far by then.

ChiefsCountry 03-03-2009 06:07 PM

So is Duke Robinson the next pick? :p
